OUR

MINISTRIES

A church isn't much of a church unless it's providing opportunities for the Lord's people to grow in Him and serve others for Him. Our ministries are designed to give you a way to take ownership at Central. They offer the chance to participate and even find a path towards leadership here. And of course, they open a door to go beyond the church and out into our city where the need for God's presence is so great.

Kids Central

At Kids Central, we strive to create a community where all kids feel safe, know they are precious and have a voice while they are learning to follow Jesus in a fun, playful atmosphere. We make friends for a lifetime with Jesus at the center. You have a friend in us!

Kids Central (6-12 yrs.) and Kids Central Jr. (4-5 yrs.)

We meet Sunday mornings starting at 10:00 and have our own services filled with games, prizes and other fun surprises followed by teaching from God's Word geared towards kids. We also offer our Noah's Park nursery (infants-3 yrs.) during each of our services.

Revolution Youth

Revolution is our Middle and High School ministry that meets every Wednesday night @ 7 pm and JV Service Sundays @10:30 am. At Revolution, we want to equip our students to be revolutionaries for God and be a key part of the change we want to see in our community. Each Revolution Service includes time to hang out with friends, games, worship and a relevant sermon about common difficulties teens face.

Connections

At Central we believe that Connections classes are a key part of what we do. This is a time to dig deeper with other members of our church community. Each Connections class is also centered around a certain area of interest just waiting to be explored.

Women's Ministry

Our focus in our Women's Ministry at Central is to love, encourage and support one another in our daily lives.  We are a  "small village" determined to make a "big difference" in our church and our community.  We look forward each day to see how God will use us and how we can make a difference in someone's life by spreading our love and light for the Lord. We are passionate about supporting our church, our students and our outreaches in the community when needs arise.

Our fellowship meets the second Sunday of each month in the Sunday School foyer at 6 pm.  We welcome and encourage all ladies to come join us.   "Many hands make light work"

Men's Ministry

THE BLACKSMITH

In the furnace, the refinement of the fire is our solace.

It is the only way that we can become pliable enough to survive the coming blows.

We are pulled from the fire and laid upon the anvil.

The hammer falls to shape and mold us.

What sort of instrument are we to become that we must be heated and beaten into shape time and time again?

How we yearn to taste the cool waters and be tempered for use!

To feel the stone against our edges to sharpen and hone us for service!

We are not carnal weapons but righteous, cosmic battlements designed to demolish strongholds!

The blacksmith knows his craft as He fans the flames and starts the process over.

Men's ministry is once again on the anvil and God is shaping us into a powerful weapon to impact our families, work places and communities! God bless our praying mothers and grandmothers but it is time for the men in the body of Christ to stand up and be counted. Many of us stand alone without the benefit of comradely and accountability in our walk with Christ. We challenge you to get involved!

There is a men's breakfast in the Family Life Center (Gym) on the third Saturday of each month. It is a meaningful time of fellowship where we nourish ourselves physically and spiritually. Look for our upcoming events here on line or in our weekly service bulletin.

Lighthouse Christian Academy & Daycare

Lighthouse Christian Academy desires to partner with parents/guardians who are committed to excellence through a Christ-centered, Biblically-integrated education; to develop God-loving, others-serving, students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.

Legacy Ministries

Legacy is a ministry to our Senior adults, 60 years and older, from here at Central Assembly as well as our surrounding community.

Legacy meetings are held the first Friday of Every Month in the Prayer Room @ 11 am. We focus on a devotional from the Word of God, Sing Hymns, praying for one another and then end our time together with food and fellowship.

Come join us on one of our many short trips that happen several times a year to museums, parks, memorials, etc. We also host a Thanksgiving Luncheon in their honor each November.

Here at Central, we feel it is of utmost importance to stay connected to our Senior Adults in letting them know how valued hey are to God, and to us.

Cleansing Stream Central

Cleansing Stream Central is a powerful discipleship tool,  that brings freedom to us in many areas as well as trains us to do spiritual battle over others that God brings into our lives! The results have produced undeniable freedom! We end the 12-week course with The Great Day Event which provides an all-day atmosphere of worshipping the Lord, dividing the Word of Truth and personal ministry at the holy altar. The CS-C ministry team is dedicated to coming alongside “ whosoever will” and supporting them in any way necessary to find their victory, healing, freedom and ultimately, a deeper walk with God!  We only have excitement and anticipation while waiting to see what else the Lord Jesus desires to do in each of our lives. Until our shadows are healing people…. there is more!!!

So whether you are in need of healing and restoration or you desire to receive training to be used by the Lord to bring this to others, we have a spot for you!
