IT'S TIME TO DREAM AGAIN

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 

Acts 2:17

We are standing on the shoulders of those who have come before us. Central Assembly of God is over a hundred years old.There comes a point in the life of a church and in the life of an individual when it seems fruitless to dream, but it’s faithless not to! No matter how young or old you are and no matter how old our church becomes we have the mandate
to keep dreaming!

  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • What will take place on commitment Sunday?
    On commitment Sunday we will worship, celebrate, and pray over what God has planned for the future of Central. We will ask our entire church — 100% — to participate by committing to give financially to the dream again initiative. We will ask that everyone submit a dream again commitment card at the end of the service that morning.
  • Are my gifts “over and above” my normal tithe and other offerings?
    Yes! They must be! Our normal operating expenses must continue to be met by your faithful support through regular tithes. These over and above gifts will allow us to accomplish the special goals of the dream again initiative.
  • Can my gift involve stocks or other assets in addition to cash?
    Absolutely! If this is the case, please email info@centralaog.org for further assistance.
  • Why are we doing this now?
    We are standing on the shoulders of those who have gone before. For the last 100 years this church has believed in the imminent return of Jesus Christ while at the same time giving sacrificially so that should he tarry, future generations would benefit. We have benefitted greatly from their sacrifice and it is time that we dream again about the future. Should Jesus tarry future generations will be blessed because of this initiative.
  • When will we be asked to make our commitment?
    Commitment Sunday will be Sunday, November 12th, 2023.
  • Will financial commitments be made public?
    We will make public and celebrate the total commitment given by the entire church. Personal financial commitments will NOT be made public or shared in any way.
  • Can commitments be changed if necessary?
    Absolutely. We understand that life circumstances can shift our ability to give generously in negative and positive ways. If you need to change your commitment, please email info@centralaog.org
  • What is the financial goal of this initiative?
    Our goal is $2.5 million, and raising this amount of money will require 100% participation from those who call Central home. This is a big goal, but we serve a big God!
